Miles is the co-Director of BurnessDigital, providing digital communications support through the use of technology, social media, video, and storytelling. He joined Burness in 2012 with a background in international development, IT, and video production. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Miles has lived and worked around the world in South America, Africa, and the Middle East, producing snapshots of international development success stories in health, governance, microfinance, and other technical sectors. Prior to joining Burness, Miles worked for Chemonics International as the Director of Information and Communications Technology. He was awarded the 2011 Society for International Development Andrew E Rice Award for producing and sharing the stories of USAID’s efforts in the West Bank using social media platforms and video. Miles received a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from the George Washington University.
