Global

The global practice at Burness started in the early 1990s through our collaboration with the Rockefeller Foundation on children’s vaccines and international agricultural research. Since then, we’ve served some 70 internationally focused organizations in global health, agriculture, climate change, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, transportation policy and other development issues.

Through our strong networks across Europe, the Americas, Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, we offer clients strategic global reach in five languages. Our Nairobi office provides full-service communications services, including media training, writing, media outreach and events management, and regularly connects organizations to African-based foreign correspondents and African media across the continent. We also retain partnerships with communications experts in Lima, Peru, and San José, Costa Rica, as a platform for reaching across South and Central America.
