Tyler Weingart

Senior Associate, Health & Social Policy

As a Senior Associate at Burness, Tyler provides communications support through media outreach, event planning, research, writing and social media to a number of projects with foundations including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation.

Tyler joined Burness in 2012 as a Communications Coordinator. Prior to that he worked as a media intern at Georgetown University Hospital and had been an intern of Burness for more than a year, assisting the Health & Social Policy team while he completed his undergraduate degree.

Tyler earned both his B.A. and M.A. degrees in Public Communication from American University in Washington, D.C. A native of upstate New York, Tyler enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and escaping to the Finger Lakes region of NY.
