Marianna Sachse

Senior Associate, Creative

Marianna joined Burness in 2011. As a Senior Associate for the Creative team, she helps nonprofits use online tools to build community and conversation to advance social change. Marianna leads projects that take advantage of the full suite of our creative services, including website development, social media campaigns, video and art.

Prior to joining Burness, Marianna served as a Program Associate at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation where she managed projects focused on violence prevention and youth engagement. While there, she also helped advance the use of social media by foundation staff and in programming.

Marianna received masters’ degrees in public health and social work from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Smith College. A native of Washington, D.C., Marianna lives near Philadelphia, with her husband, Nathan, and son, Elias.
