Melissa Yeo joined Burness in October of 2013. She works primarily with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s portfolios on early childhood and community development.
Prior to Burness, Melissa was a public affairs fellow at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, a global public relations firm, where she conducted stakeholder and media engagement for corporations and trade associations. She also worked on communications and government relations as an intern for the League of Conservation Voters, an environmental advocacy group in Washington, DC.
A native of Singapore, she graduated from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Environmental Science and Policy.
