Genelle Quarles Adrien
Associate, Creative
Genelle believes in the power of storytelling and creative communication as a catalyst for social change.
As an associate on the Creative Team, she produces videos at home and abroad, manages social media campaigns and helps nonprofits amplify their voices online to inspire people to action. She speaks Spanish, knows basic French and has an eye for identifying strong messages for storytelling.
Prior to joining Burness, Genelle completed an internship with the Center for Art Design and Visual Culture at UMBC where she supported a civil rights storytelling initiative and worked as a production assistant for Square Off, a weekly political talk show that airs on the ABC affiliate in Baltimore.
Genelle is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County and holds a degree in media studies and intercultural communications. A life long learner, she enjoys taking French and Spanish classes. Her next adventure: learning to play bass guitar. Genelle loves traveling with her husband Richard and cuddling with her cat Piment.
