Ashley Wilson
Senior Associate
Ashley joined Burness in 2017 as a senior associate and has since provided strategic communications support and counsel to clients such as the Afterschool Alliance, CityHealth, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s County Health Rankings and Roadmaps and Culture of Health Prize.
Prior to joining Burness, Ashley was the communications and youth engagement director at the Global Campaign for Education-US, an advocacy organization working to ensure that all children have access to a quality education. There, she supported and trained youth advocates around the U.S. to use their voices to share the power of education and drove all the communication efforts for the organization. In addition to this work, she has also been an elementary school teacher and a Capitol Hill staffer in press and legislative capacities.
Ashley graduated from Dillard University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and from Boston University with a Master of Science in public relations.
Ashley loves to write and strongly believes in the potential of personal stories to change the world.
