Gwendolyn Craig
Coordinator and Web Editor, Digital
Gwen is a coordinator for the Digital team. She joined Burness in September 2013. She focuses on video production, photography and social media campaigns.
Prior to working at Burness, Gwen worked for The Auburn Citizen, a daily newspaper in New York. She was also managing editor of the iBook publication, Key Connections, which focused on the impact of sea level rise in the Florida Keys. Apple has used Key Connections as an example iBook for university publication possibilities. She has also freelanced for Connecticut Woodlands magazine. In addition to writing, Gwen worked on several video projects, including filming for a parkour interactive tablet magazine called Vertical Floor. Her video work has also appeared on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Endangered Species website, specifically a story about the endanagered Chittenango Ovate Amber Snail.
Gwen has a master’s degree in magazine, newspaper and online journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and her bachelor’s in English and Journalism, as well as a concentration in ecology and evolutionary biology, from the University of Connecticut.
