Coordinator

Burness is seeking a motivated, creative person to join us in working alongside nonprofits to drive change in health and social policy.  Burness is a seasoned public-interest communications firm committed to advancing social change on a broad array of issues that range from health disparities to reforming health care to obesity and public health to expanding access to oral health care to reducing poverty to improving health for everyone. The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with intern experience or one year of professional experience in public relations (or related communications activities) and a strong interest in social change communications, advocacy and health and social policy.  Strong social media and research skills are critical assets, as are attention to detail, flexibility, ability to multi-task, and having a curious mind.
